We built a flexible authentication system that supports both email registration and social media login. New users can create detailed profiles that include personal information, contact details, and an optional profile photo. This foundation of verified identity helps build trust between gig bosses and giglers before any work even begins.
Gig Posting and Smart Browsing
Gig bosses can post tasks with a full set of details including a title, description, price, category, and location. On the other side, giglers can browse all available gigs and filter by category, location, and keywords to quickly find opportunities that match their skills and availability. The discovery experience is clean, fast, and built to minimise the time between browsing and applying.
Gig Progress Tracking and Management
Gig bosses have a full management layer that lets them track the progress of every active gig, monitor gigler activity, and mark tasks as started or completed. Linear progress graphs and status screens provide a clear visual overview of where each gig stands, making it easy to take action quickly when updates are needed.
Secure Escrow Payment Integration
Payment security is built into the core of the Gigl platform through Stripe integration and an escrow model. When a gig is accepted, funds are held securely in escrow until the task is completed to the satisfaction of the gig boss. Payment is only released upon approval, ensuring that giglers are protected from non-payment and gig bosses are protected from incomplete work.
Direct Messaging and Collaboration

Gig bosses can post tasks with full details including a title, description, price, category, and location. Giglers can browse the full marketplace and filter by category, location, and keywords to find the right opportunities fast. Once a gigler applies and the gig boss approves them, the gig is underway.
Complete, Pay, and Review
Giglers complete the task and the gig boss reviews the outcome. Once satisfied, the gig boss approves completion and payment is released from escrow to the gigler. Both parties then rate and review each other, contributing to their reputation on the platform and helping build trust for future collaborations
